Black Russian
"Black Russian" is a compelling solo performance written and performed by Michael Morris. It tells the extraordinary true story of Frederick Bruce Thomas, the son of formerly enslaved parents who left America and became one of the wealthiest and most influential entertainers in Imperial Russia.
Through this remarkable story, the production explores identity, ambition, resilience, and the extraordinary journey of a man who built a new life far from the country of his birth.
