The Faculty of Culture, Language & Performing Arts is sponsoring the "Kihe ka Ihu i ka ʻAle Symposium" to celebrate the 25th anniversary and legacy of the Iosepa voyaging canoe.
The symposium will reflect on voyaging, culture, navigation, and the people and stories connected to Iosepa. Speakers include Captain Mark Ellis, Captain Chad Paishon, Tuione Pulotu, Cy Bridges, and Jerusha Magalei, as well as a panel of past and present crew members. RSVP now.
